The Clinic
History
The Elpis D. Papaioannou Clinic was founded in 1960 by Dimitrios Papaioannou and Panagiotis Gennimatas. Since 1966, it has been located where it stands today, at Eleftherias Square in Volos. In 1983, Panagiotis Gennimatas withdrew, leaving Dimitrios Papaioannou as the sole proprietor. After his passing, his offsprings took over the management of the clinic.
Vision
In these 59 years of uninterrupted operation, the purpose of the Clinic Elpis D. Papaioannou remains unchanged: to provide quality healthcare services to the residents of Magnesia.
With a constant priority to ensure the high level of health services, Elpis Clinic continuously enhances its services, both in terms of facilities and organization.
Furthermore, it ensures alignment with technological advancements in the healthcare sector by continuously improving its technical infrastructure.
By giving the greatest importance to the human factor over the years, the Elpis Clinic has the privilege to comprise of staff that includes some of the leading doctors of Volos and the wider region.
Facilities
The Elpis Clinic is housed in a four-story building in the center of Volos.It has a capacity of 64 beds and offers single, double, triple, and quadruple rooms.
It also includes 3 Operating Rooms for performing a wide variety of surgeries.
The patient rooms, waiting areas, corridors, department and clinic spaces are designed to make the stay of patients and their loved ones as pleasant as possible.
It also provides a fully equipped ambulance for the transportation of clinic patients.
