Elpis Clinic operates a fully equipped, state-of-the-art Department of General Surgery, staffed by experienced and highly trained medical and nursing personnel. The Clinic features two open/conventional surgical theatres located on the 1st and 2nd floors, where core minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures are performed, as well as a dedicated open/conventional surgery theatre and a minor procedures theatre. All operations are performed safely under general or regional anaesthesia and cover the full spectrum of General Surgery. Surgical inpatients are accommodated in single and double rooms with 24-hour medical supervision. Patient care is delivered in accordance with the principles established by the late founding surgeons of the Clinic, and in line with contemporary advances in surgical practice.
